Monumental modernist style brass repousse vessel made in the 1930s-1940s by Italian designer Egidio Casagrande (1911-1962). Casagrande is renown for his work as a master craftsman and metalworker who designed and created the metal elementd and armors for classic Hollywood movies like 'Ben Hur' and 'The Ten Commandments'.
This piece is in very good condition with a beautiful natural patina. Embossed mark on the bottom.
